Welcome to Lake Cavanaugh Farm, a place where you can count on getting produce that is fresh and organic -- vegetables and herbs of wonderful quality and variety. Martha Goodlett and Becky Brown own a small farm in eastern Skagit County that goes back to a Finn settlement in the late 1800s. The property lies four miles west of Lake Cavanaugh. It's hard to find a closer connection between farmer and consumer. The produce you pick up each week in either North or South Seattle has been harvested by Martha and Becky only the evening before. Lake Cavanaugh Farm subscribers play their part in this example of community-supported agriculture by paying in advance of the growing season, which runs from early June to mid-October. |
